The general public, family and friends are invited to the session which is scheduled at the Dining Pavilion on UVI's St. Thomas campus. Participants include Virgin Islands high school students enrolled in the Summer Science Enrichment Academy, UVI science and mathematics undergraduates conducting research projects on St. Thomas and St. Croix and students involved in the Summer Bridge2Calculus enrichment program. More than 40 posters detailing the students' work will be presented by the Summer Science students and UVI undergraduate researchers. …

The general public, family and friends are invited to the session which is scheduled at the Dining Pavilion on UVI's St. Thomas campus. The 2006 Summer Science Enrichment Academy's theme was "Emerging Health and Environmental Issues." Some of the topics to be covered in the research presentations are emerging health issues, pollutants, diseases, data mining, taxonomy and ecology.
