HE undersigned begs to notify the T public that he does not rent land for the purpose of burning Charcoal, ex- cept in so far as a person renting a pieee of lang for a provision ground is allowed to burn Charcoal from the wood collected in clearing said land. There seems to be a misunderstanding as I have of late found people taking the liberty of cut- ting in to well wooded land without my knowledge or consent and making a busi- ness of burning Charcoal, such persons are trespassers and guilty of taking property that does not belong to them. All land renters of Anally, Rose Hill, Mt. Stewart and estates belongin g thereto, who are in arrears with their rents are requested to bring their books and set- tle their rents promptly or they will be considered trespassers and treated as such according to law.
