TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To provide for supplementa! appropriations from the General Fund and certain other funds in the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands for Fiscal Year 2001, to provide for local matching funds for federal disaster assistance, and for other purposes aaa(Jeee BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION lL. (a) The sum of $5,304,409 or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated from the-Genoral Fund in the fiscat year ending September 30, 2001, to provide the additional local matching funds needed to access federal disaster assistance. (b) The sum_of $500,000 or so much thereof as may be nocessary 1s appropriated from the General Fund in the fiscal vear ending September 30, 2001, to the Department of Education to provide supplemental funds to purchase food for the School Lunch Program. …
