ACT NO.6460 BILL NO. 24-0157 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To amend Act 6427 (Bill No. 24-0092) to provide that funds appropriated to the Government Development Bank for the purpose of establishing a Micro-credit Loan Program may not be commingled with the funds of any other government loan program and to provide that the Micro-credit Loan Program may provide unsecured loans at an interest rate not to exceed 5% ---()--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act 6427 (BILL NO. 24-0092), Section 45, is amended as follows: (1) By designating the existing language as subsection “(a)”; (2) By adding subsections (b) and (c) to read: “(b) The sum appropriated may not be combined or commingled with the funds of any other government loan program. (c) The Micro-credit Loan Program shall provide for unsecured loans at an interest rate not to exceed 5%.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 25, 2001. …
