ACT NO. 7954 BILL NO. 31-0498 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act providing funding for repairs at the Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center from the Community Facilities Trust Account o--Q)--- WHEREAS, the Community Facilities Trust Account was established in accordance with Act No. 7012, which ratified the Agreement between Diageo USVI, Inc., and the Government of the United States Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, the Community Facilities Trust Account funds are to be utilized for the development, operations and muintenance of community and/or sports facilities or urban redevelopment projects on St. Croix and similar facilities and projects on St. Thomas/St. John or Water Island; and WHEREAS, such projects must be recommended by the Governor and subject to the approval by the Legislature; and WHREAS, the Juan F. …
