Poincare on Saturday scored another victory in his movement to stabilize tire nation’s finan- ces and restore economic equilibrium in France, when both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies passed the Govern- ment’s taxaticn and fiscal reform bill. The vote in the Senate was 146 to 12 in fa- vour of the bill. The fiscal bill is expect- ed to bring to the Treasuary and addi- tional 6.:23,000,000 francs through iner - gad taxa'ion yearly and effect one million in economies. Tne bill was presented to the S-nate for final vote by M Poin- care and Minister of Finanez D Lastey- rie. It was anderstood on good authori- ty that the Government’s next (iscal move in its efforts to imorove Fraice’s financial situation will be to present a plan for the consolidation of a naticnal float- ing deb:, about eighty billions, before Parliameat dissoives for the general elec- tions.
