ACTNO. 7299 BILL NO. 29-0026 TWENTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2011 An Act amending title 29 Virgin Islands Code, chapters 3 and 5, to provide for the regulation of wireless telecommunication facilities and support structures; amending title 33, chapter 111 to establish the Wireless Revolving Fund; making appropriations to the Wireless Revolving Fund and providing for related purposes ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. In enacting this Act it is the intent of the Legislature to: (1) — Ensure the Virgin Islands has sufficient wireless infrastructure to support its public safety communications throughout the Territory; (2) Ensure access to reliable wireless communications services throughout the Virgin Islands; (3) Encourage the use of existing structures for the collocation of wireless facilities; (4) Encourage the location of wireless support structures, to the extent possible, in areas where any potential adverse impacts upon the community, including visual impact, will be minimized; (5) Facilitate the responsible …
