Potter Senate President Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands Capital Building St. Thomas, Virgin Islands 00802 Re: Lease Agreement for Ratification by the Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the U.S Virgin Islands Dear Senate President Potter: Pursuant to Title 31, Section 205, subsection (c), of the Virgin Islands Code, transmitted herewith is the following Lease Agreement submitted for ratification by the Thirty-Sixth Legislature: Lease Agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands, acting through the Department_of Property and Procurement_and_ L.J. Auto Repairs, LLC (OLC No. 0177-2026). Under the proposed Lease Agreement, the Government will lease a portion of Parcel No. 22 Revised Submarine Base, No. 6 Southside Quarter, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, consisting of 3,400 U.S. sq. ft. or 0.078 U.S. acre(s) of semi-improved land more-or-less, which is zoned I-2 for “Light Industry (hereinafter “the Premises”) to L.J. Auto Repairs, LLC. The premises will be used to operate a garage and auto repair shop, and for other related purposes. The initial lease term is twenty (20) years with the option to renew the lease for two (2) additional ten (10) year periods.
