COMMITTEE ON DISASTER RECOVERY, INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLANNING BILL NO. 35-0331 Thirty-Fifth Legislature of the Virgin Islands September 18, 2024 An Act amending title 25 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 16, section 404 to prohibit anchoring and mooring at certain locations within the territorial waters of the Virgin Islands PROPOSED BY: Senator Marvin A. Blyden Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Title 25, chapter 16, section 404, Virgin Islands Code, is amended as 2 follows: 3 (a) In subsection (h) inserting the following after “limited use.”: “However, subject to 4 confiscation of the vessel, in no case shall the Department designate, permit or allow a vessel 5 to anchor or moor at the following locations: Magens Bay, Brewers Bay, Christmas Cove, 6 Morning Star, Outer Brass, Vessup Bay, Blue Beards Beach, Linquist Beach , Bolongo Beach 7 and Santa Maria Bay on St. Thomas and Cramers Park, Teague Bay, South Gate, and Cotton 8 Valley on St. …
