Hermon-Percell, to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands. Commissioner Hermon-Percell currently serves with us on the Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission in the capacity of Vice-Chair. We find her to be a dedicated public servant whose professional experience, leadership acumen, and commitment to civic and community advancement, make her exceptionally well-qualified for this significant role. Over the past several years, we have had the privilege of working alongside Commissioner Hermon-Percell and have consistently found her to be a person of integrity, insight, and thoughtful judgment. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the various issues facing our Territory, particularly in the areas of economic development, access to quality education and development of our youth, and of course, institutional accountability. Her nomination reflects not only her personal achievements, but also her unwavering dedication to the people of the Virgin Islands. We are confident that she will serve the University of the Virgin Islands with distinction, and that her presence on the Board will contribute meaningfully to its continued growth and success.
