BILL NO. 28-0155 GOVERNOR TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session - 2010 An Act to establish “The Education Policy Improvement Act of 2010” annQnne Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. This Act is known as and may be cited as “The Education Policy Improvement Act of 2009.” SECTION 2. Title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 5, section 41, subsection (o)is is amended in the following instances: (a) __ by inserting new paragraph (2) to read as follows and renumbering the remaining paragraphs accordingly: “(2) A Virgin Islands cultural curriculum for kindergarten through grade twelve;” (b) _ by striking “and” at the end of the existing paragraph (3) and the period at the end of existing paragraphs (4) and (5) and inserting a semicolon in their place; (c) _ by inserting “and” at the end of the new paragraph (6); and (d) by adding a new appropriately numbered paragraph at the end thereof to read: “() The Commissioner of Education, in conjunction with the Virgin Islands Board of Education, shall promulgate rules and regulations to carry ou …
