ACTNO. 6851 BILL NO. 26-0267 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2006 An Act amending 1 V.I.C., chapter 11, to designate June as Cancer Awareness Month —0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: . SECTION 1. Title 1 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 11, is amended by adding a section 199b to read: § 199b Cancer Awareness Month (a) The Virgin Islands shall observe the month of June of each year.as “Cancer Awareness Month”. (b) The Commissioner of the Department of Health shall disseminate information, sponsor and promote activities throughout the territory to heighten cancer Witness our Hands and the Seal of the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: this /07?
