SNAP Certification unit closure: DHS Division of Family Assistance Announces partial day closure of SNAP Certification Units, Services to Resume at 2:30 PM U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS), Division of Family Assistance (DFA), announces a partial-day closure of the SNAP Certification unit territory-wide. Offices in both the St. Thomas (STT) and St. Croix (STX) districts will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM to allow staff to attend a mandatory training. During this time, in-person services at the SNAP Certification units will be unavailable. Regular operations will resume promptly at 2:30 PM. The VI Department of Human Services apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this partial closure.
