Also information concerning the buildings on the estate and the appropriation thereof, especially if there are rooms rented to- other than laborers permanently employ- ed, and jthe ‘iangtb’ and width of said rooms and the rental thereof. In order that reduction can be obtained in the taxes for- dwelling houses, ware- houses and sheds, which have been un- oceupied tor two months and upwards, the Comnissicn wou.d particularly draw the attention of those parties desiring reduction that it is, very necessary in such cases that certificatesto that effect be produczd stating that ihe houses, sheds ete. have been vacant during said period. gE [T MUST BE SPECIALLY OUB- SERVED: Persons neglecting to procure the information and proof described by the regulation in the above shape, time and place must ascribe to their own neglect all losses re- sulting therefrom. As several planters in the last years have neglected to meet at the fixed time and place to deliver their taxlists, the Uommission begs to anncunce that taxlists will not be received for any quarter, at any other time or place than above stated. In case’ persons neglect to deliver a taxlist for any estate in due time, the Commission will, be- fore closing the meeting assess the tax for saig estate according to the best of its knowledge. %‘axlists which are forwarded ',l{ater to the Commission, will, together with a list of those estates that have omit- ted to send in their taxlists, be transmitted to the Government in order that other measures be taken. Blanks for taxlisis will be distributed some daysfprevious to the: meeting of the tax Commission and are required to be accurately filled out by the parties con- cerned, and delivered to the Commission on the day which is fixed for each street in the town and each quarter in the coun- try.
