ACT NO.8 8 7 7 BILL NO. 35-0276 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2024 An Act appropriating the sum of $1,000,000 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center to assist in purchasing dialysis machines and chairs, a reverse osmosis water system, medication, supplies and to fund staff salaries and construction Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) The sum of $1,000,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center to assist in purchasing dialysis machines and chairs, a reverse osmosis water system, medication, supplies, and to fund staff salaries and construction. (b) The sum appropriated in subsection (a) remains available until expended. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on August 16, 2024. …
