Paris, July 6th.—According to adyvices received here from the League of Na- tions at (Geneva, the Canadizn amend- ment to article ten, pamely: “‘That the nenbers of the League shall undertake to respect and preserve, as against ex- ternal ageression, the ferritorial integri- ty and existing volitical independence of all the members of the League and in casa of any such aggression or any threat or danger of such, the Council shall ad- vise upon means whereby their obliga- tions shall be fulfilled,”” was rejected almost unanimously. The proposed amendment would make participation in any war measure by a nation which is a member of the League dependent upon its political and geographical circum- stances ard the consent of the nations sfombers of Parliament.
