COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 36-0308 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands June 11, 2026 An act appropriating the sum of $150,000 from the Virgin Islands Education Initiative Fund to the Virgin Islands Department of Education to conduct a biannual fixed asset inventory PROPOSED BY: Senator Kurt A. Vialet Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding the use restrictions in 33 V.I.C. §3093, the sum of 2 $150,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, from the Virgin Islands 3 Education Initiative Fund to the Virgin Islands Department of Education to conduct a biannual 4 fixed asset inventory. 5 (b) The funds appropriated in subsection (a) remain available until expended. 6 BILL SUMMARY 7 This bill appropriates the sum of $150,000 from the Virgin Islands Education Initiative 8 Fund to the Virgin Islands Department of Education, to conduct a biannual fixed asset 9 inventory. 10 BR26-1148/May 28, 2026/GC 11
