In general, to mail merge, you will create a master document or form in which a number of field markers are placed. These markers are replaced with the contents of each record when the document is printed (mail merged). Works and Q&A Create a Database (in the usual way) with the information that you want to merge. Works Load your data base and then create a word processing document. Use Edit, Insert Database field to insert fields. Use the View Query option to select records. Use Print, Print Form Letters to print your forms. From the Main Menu select the Write Menu then choose Type/Edit. Create a form letter, when you wish to insert a field name, type ALT F7 (the first time you do this you will be asked for the name of the database you are using).
