Ward, was placed under arrest after she was positively identified by the male victim as the female who assaulted him. The victim stated that he was in the Carnival Village shortly after Jouvert when Ms. Ward and her girlfriend approached him. The victim stated that he was attacked by both females which resulted in a large laceration to the center of his forehead. Ms. Ward turned herself in to the Domestic Violence Unit where she was read her Constitutional Warning as to Rights and then placed under arrest. …

Ward, was placed under arrest after she was positively identified by the male victim as the female who assaulted him. The victim stated that he was in the Carnival Village shortly after Jouvert when Ms. Ward and her girlfriend approached him. The victim stated that he was attacked by both females which resulted in a large laceration to the center of his forehead. Ms. Ward turned herself in to the Domestic Violence Unit where she was read her Constitutional Warning as to Rights and then placed under arrest. Her charges are Assault in the Third Degree, Simple Assault, Disturbance of the Peace and Aiding and Abetting. Her bail was set at $25,000.00. She was then turned over to the Bureau of Corrections where she awaits the findings of her Advice of Rights Hearing. In the same matter, 27-year-old Ms. Diniqua Diaz, was placed under arrest after she was positively identified by the male victim as his ex-girlfriend, who assaulted him. The victim further stated that Ms. Diaz shattered his front windshield and caused other damages to his vehicle while their minor child was inside of same. Ms. Diaz turned herself in to the Domestic Violence Unit where she was read her Constitutional Warning as to Rights and then placed under arrest. Her charges are Assault n the Third Degree- DV, Violation of a Court Order, Damage to Property- DV, Simple Assault-DV, Disturbance of the Peace-DV, Reckless Endangerment and Aiding and Abetting. With no bail set, Ms. Diaz was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections where she awaits the findings of her Advice of Rights Hearing. This case is presently under investigation by the Domestic Violence Bureau/CIB. Anyone having information about this crime can notify the Criminal Investigation Bureau or the Domestic Violence Unit at (340)774-2211 ext. 5534 or the Chief’s Office. - END -
