Luis Hospital and Medical Center (JFLH) revealed that the hospital's historical financial management issues have reached a critical juncture. Significant changes need to occur if the hospital is to continue to operate for the benefit of Virgin Island citizens and visitors. JFLH needs to make some immediate decisions regarding how best to balance its debt load with its revenue streams to preserve its future as St. Croix's source of health care. …
