RESOLUTION TO THANK THE UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND — June 21, 1987
The undersigned does hereby certify that the following is an exact copy of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands adopted at its meeting on June 21, 1987, as recorded in the Minutes of said meeting: RESOLUTION TO THANK THE UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND FOR ITS ASSISTANCE TO THE UNIVERSITY WHEREAS, the United Negro College Fund through its president, Attorney Christopher Edley, has developed an interest in the University of the Virgin Islands, and WHEREAS, the United Negro College Fund has allowed the university to participate in its fund-raising activities, and has conducted training sessions for university personnel and public volunteers, and WHEREAS, the university has benefitted financially as the result of this association, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands on its own behalf and on the behalf of the students, faculty and staff, as well as on the behalf of the community, through this medium, expresses its appreciation and thanks to the United Negro College Fund. …
