COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE/FLOOR BILL NO. 36-0094 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands May 19, 2025 An act amending Official Zoning Map No. STZ-7 to rezone Parcel No. 2L Estate Bakkero, No. 5, Frenchman’s Quarter, St. Thomas from R-1 (Residential-Low Density) to R-3 (Residential- Medium Density) PROPOSED BY: Senator Milton E. Potter, by Request of the Governor Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Pursuant to title 29 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, section 238, Official 2 Zoning Map No. STZ-7 for the island of St. Thomas is amended by changing the zoning 3 designation of Parcel No. 2L Estate Bakkero, No. 5, Frenchman’s Quarter, St. Thomas 4 consisting of 0.59 U.S. acres, as shown on survey drawing F9-2568-T70 from R-1 (Residential- 5 Low Density) to R-3 (Residential-Medium Density). 6 BILL SUMMARY 7 This bill rezones Parcel No. 2L Estate Bakkero, No. 5, Frenchman’s Quarter, St. Thomas 8 from R-1 (Residential-Low Density) to R-3 (Residential-Medium Density). 9 BR25-0627/May 8, 2025/PFA 10 G36-008 11
