The IMT has submitted its first Quarterly Report for the period ending April 30, 2023. VIPD does not oppose anything that was submitted in this report, and it continues to take steps to come into compliance and maintain substantial compliance with the use of force, citizen complaint, and management and supervision provisions of the Consent Decree. During the period April 19, 2023, to May 19, 2023, there were a total of Eleven (11) Use of Force cases which were equivalent to Twenty-Six (26) Use of Force incidents. …
