ACT NO.6589 BILL NO 25-0014 TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2003 To amend title 23, chapter 3, Virgin Islands Code, relating to the regulation of bicycle operation on the public streets, roads or highways of the Virgin Islands ---{)--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 23, chapter 3, subchapter V, section 205, Virgin Islands Code, is amended by adding new subsections (d), (e), (f) and (g) to read as follows: ‘“(d} No cyclist shall operate a bicycle upon a public road, street or highway of the Virgin Islands without a safety helmet sccurely strapped to his head. The safcty helmet shall meet the minimum requirements as proposed by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or otherwise approved by the Commissioner of the Virgin islands Policc Department. …
