GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION IN RE: ) ) Docket No. 630 ADVANCE POWER, LLC’S APPLICATION FOR ) Order No. 56/2014 QUALIFIED FACILITY CERTIFICATION ) ) ORDER WHEREAS, on June 27, 2014, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “PSC” or the “Commission”) received and Application from Advance Power, LLC (hereinafter “Advance Power’’) seeking certification as a Qualifying Facility at Bovoni Point , St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, on August 22, 2014, the Commission received a report from its Technical Consultants, Georgetown Consulting Group, Inc. (hereinafter “GCG”) WHEREAS, on August 26, 2014, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission held a Special Meeting in both its offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix; and WHEREAS, the Commission received testimony from its Technical Consultants, and representatives of Advance Power; and WHEREAS, after review and deliberation the Commission voted to approve Advance Power’s Application; and NOW THEREFORE, the Commission finds and ORDERS: 1. …

GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION IN RE: ) ) Docket No. 630 ADVANCE POWER, LLC’S APPLICATION FOR ) Order No. 56/2014 QUALIFIED FACILITY CERTIFICATION ) ) ORDER WHEREAS, on June 27, 2014, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter “PSC” or the “Commission”) received and Application from Advance Power, LLC (hereinafter “Advance Power’’) seeking certification as a Qualifying Facility at Bovoni Point , St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, on August 22, 2014, the Commission received a report from its Technical Consultants, Georgetown Consulting Group, Inc. That based on the testimony, reports and applications before this Commission, the Application for Advance Power, LLC for certification as a qualifying facility is APPROVED. 2. The certification will expire one year unless extended by the Commission. 3. Advance Power must submit quarterly reports to the Commission regarding the status of any interconnection agreement, power purchase agreement, and permitting of the facility. So Ordered.
