ACT NO, 7041 BILL NO. 27-0237 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2008 An Act providing for an appropriation from the Tourism Advertisement Revolving Fund to the Department of Tourism, the Office of the Governor, and the Virgin Islands Police Department during the fiscal year October 1, 2008, through September 30, 2009 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding title 33 Virgin Islands Code, section 3072 (c), the sum of $650,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2009, from the Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to the Department of Tourism for grants subject to the financial disclosure requirements of 2 V.I.C., §29 to the following grantees in the amounts specified in paragraphs (1) through (3): qd) Virgin Islands Carnival Committee, Inc. $300,000; (2) Crucian Christmas Festival ‘Organization, Inc. $275,000; and (3) The Festival and Cultural Organization of St. John $ 75,000.
