ACTNO, 8156 BILL NO. 32-0336 THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2018 An Act approving the Lease Agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands Department of Property and Procurement and Marco St. Croix, Inc. WHEREAS, title 31, section 205(b) of the Virgin Islands Code provides that the Governor of the Virgin Islands shall approve, on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, all conveyances, leases, or other instruments relating to the disposition of government real estate; and WHEREAS, title 31, section 205 (c) of the Virgin Islands Code provides that in addition to the required approval of the Governor as provided for in subsection (b) of this section, no sale, exchange, lease, or sublease of government real estate is binding upon the Government of the Virgin Islands, unless and it is approved by the Legislature; and WHEREAS, this act is to approve a lease granted by the Government of the Virgin Islands Department of Property and Procurement; Now, Therefore, Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. …
