ACTNO. 6919 BILL NO. 27-0005 TWENTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2007 An Act amending 4 V.I.C., to provide for a Magistrate Division within the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 4 Virgin Islands Code, section 79, subsection (a), is amended by inserting after the word “family” the word “‘magistrate’s”. SECTION 2. Title 4 Virgin Islands Code is amended by adding chapter 8 to read as follows: “Chapter 8 Magistrate Division of the Superior Court §120. Magistrate Division There is established in the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands a Magistrate Division in which the procedure, unless otherwise specified, is in accordance with the rules governing the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands. §121. …
