COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 35-0149 Thirty-Fifth Legislature of the Virgin Islands September 19, 2023 An Act providing an appropriation for salaries and expenses of the Virgin Islands Board of Elections and the Office of the Supervisor of Elections for the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024 PROPOSED BY: Senators Novelle E. Francis, Jr., and Donna A. Frett-Gregory by Request of the Governor Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the General Fund of the 2 Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands during the fiscal year October 1, 2023, 3 through September 30, 2024, to the Virgin Islands Board of Elections for operating expenses 4 and any other related costs. 5 SECTION 2. The sum of $2,529,392 is appropriated from the General Fund of the 6 Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands during the fiscal year October 1, 2023, 7 through September 30, 2024, to the Office of the Supervisor of Elections for operating expenses 8 and any other related costs. …
