ACTNO.9 116 BILL NO. 36-0312 THIRTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2026 An act amending Act No. 9022 regarding compensation for unused leave for legislative employees upon separation ---()--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 9022, section 1 (Bill No. 36-0161), is amended as follows: (a) _ Insert the following new line-item at the end: “ANNUAL LEAVE PAYOUT $345,000”; (b) Strike “$25,500,000” and insert “$25,834,000”; and (c) The funds appropriated in subsection (a) remain available until January 31, 2027.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on June 12, 2026.
