BILL NO. 29-0435 TWENTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2012 An Act providing appropriations for operating expenses of the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands, the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, the Judicial Council and the Office of the Public Defender ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $5,710,661 is appropriated from the General Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2013, to the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands for operating expenses. SECTION 2. (a) The sum of $23,000,000 is appropriated from the General Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2013, to the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands for operating expenses. (b) | The Superior Court of the Virgin Islands may expend in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2013, any balances from prior year encumbrances for any purposes the Superior Court determines to be critical fiscal year priorities.
