ACT NO. 8618 BILL NO. 34-0303 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2022 An Act providing an appropriation for the operation of the judicial branch of the Government of the Virgin Islands, the Judicial Council and the Office of the Territorial Public Defender during the fiscal year October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature ofthe Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The following sums are appropriated from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands for operating expenses of the judicial branch of the Government of the Virgin Islands, the Judicial Council and the Office of the Territorial Public Defender in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023, to the following entities: 0100 GENERAL FUND FY 2023 JUDICIAL COUNCIL VIRGIN ISLANDS JUDICIARY AND COURT SYSTEM OFFICE OF THE TERRITORIAL PUBLIC DEFENDER TOTAL 0100 GENERAL FUND $ 128,274 $ 40,500,000 $ 5,372,220 $ 46,000,494 Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 20, 2022. …
