April 8 U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS– Governor Albert Bryan Jr. will be attending the annual Sea Trade Conference this week in Miami, Florida, from April 8 – 11. The Governor will be leading a delegation of Virgin Islands officials to promote the territory as a premier destination for cruise tourism and maritime business. “The Sea Trade Conference is a critical platform to connect with industry leaders and showcase the many advantages the Virgin Islands offers to the global maritime community,” said Governor Bryan. “Our beautiful islands, rich history, and cultural offerings make us an ideal destination for cruise lines and maritime businesses alike.” During the conference, Governor Bryan will be participating in a number of events, including: * A panel discussion on the future of cruise tourism in the Caribbean * Meetings with executives from major cruise lines and maritime companies * A reception to promote the Virgin Islands to industry partners The Governor will also be highlighting the territory’s recent investments in its ports and infrastructure, as well as its commitment to sustainable tourism practices. “The Virgin Islands is a leader in sustainable tourism, and we are committed to working with our partners in the cruise industry to ensure a healthy and vibrant environment for future generations,” added Governor Bryan. The Sea Trade Conference is the world’s largest cruise industry event, bringing together cruise lines, port authorities, travel agents, and other industry stakeholders. The conference provides a platform for networking, education, and discussion of the latest trends in the cruise industry. During Governor Bryan’s absence, Lt. Governor Tregenza Roach will be the Acting Governor. The Bryan-Roach Administration is investing in the Territory’s people, infrastructure, and future through transparency, stabilizing the economy, restoring trust in the government, and ensuring that recovery projects are completed as quickly as possible.
