iA FACULTY EVALUATION (Board of Trustees Meeting, January 30, 1977) Acting on behalf of the Faculty Review Advisory CouMcil and at their request, the President of the College asked the Board of Trustees for its opinion concerning the scope of authority of the Faculty Review Advisory Council with regard to a request for the de novo consideration of a tenure decision which they had previously made. This recommendation had been sent to the President and to the Board of Trustees and had been acted upon. The members of the Board of Trustees considered this request, and it was their opinion that the provisions of the Faculty Policy Manual did not provide a basis for a new consideration by the Faculty Review Advisory Council of this matter.
