Office of the Commissioner May 10, 2023 PUBLIC NOTICE The Department of Planning and Natural Resources-Division of Environmental Protection has received an application for a Synthetic Minor Operating Permit: LIMETREE BAY TERMINALS, LLC d/b/a OCEAN POINT TERMINALS #1 ESTATE HOPE ST. CROIX, USVI The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tentatively intends to approve the application. The application is for the operation of the following: ➢ ten (10) 1.2 Mega Watt Jenbacher J420-GS-C-685-EPA Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine ➢ one (1) 1.3 Mega Watt Cummins QSK50-G4 NR2 Compression Ignition Internal Combustion Engine This facility will produce electricity for all terminal operations. During operation, these units will have the collective potential to emit 34.19 tons per year (tons/yr.) of nitrogen oxides, 8.91 tons/yr. of sulfur dioxide, 2.32 tons/yr. of carbon monoxide, 11.15 tons/yr. of volatile organic compounds, and 3.72 tons/yr. of particulate matter into the atmosphere. …

CROIX, USVI The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tentatively intends to approve the application.
