ACT NO.65 98 BILL NO. 25-0055 TWENTY FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Special Session 2003 To amend Act No. 6587 (Bill No, 25-0052) pertaining to the issuance of bonds a | BE JT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Act No. 6587 (Bill No. 25-0052) is hereby amended in the following instances: (a) In Section 1{a)(iii), strike paragraph (D) and re-designate the existing paragraphs accordingly. (b) In Section 1(a)(iii}(1), strike the existing language and insert the following language: “to finance economic development initiatives on the island of St. Croix in an amount up to $65,000,000;” and re-designate the remaining paragraph accordingly. SECTION 2. Act No. 6587 (Bill No. 25-0052) is hereby further amended by adding anew, appropriately numbered section to read as follows: “SECTION 2 The economic development initiatives on the island of St. …
