Notwithstanding any other law and in accordance with title 31, section 205, Virgin Islands Code, Government owned land that is leased for agricultural purposes in furtherance of the Government’s encouragement of agriculture production in the Virgin Islands, shall be leased according to the following schedule: (a) for 1 to 5 acres per year, not more than $20 per acre; and (b) for 6 or more acres per year, not more than $15 per acre.
