Funding is made available through the US Department of Health and Humans Services Administration of Children and Families Family Violence Prevention Services Act S303. The purpose of the Family Violence Prevention Services funds is to support the maintenance, and expansion of programs providing shelter and related help to victims of domestic violence, family violence and their dependent children. Support Services Please request an application from Kendall Tutein, Director of Nonprofits and Support Services; email kendall.tutein@dhs.vi.gov with the subject titled: FY2023 FVPSA CORE PROGRAM PROPOSAL or visit the VIDHS office on St. Thomas at the Knud Hansen Complex at Hospital Ground or 3012 Golden Rock on St. Croix. You may also call (340) 718-2980 (St. Croix) or (340)774-0930 (St. Thomas) for further information. Deadline for submission of proposals electronically or by drop-off is August 14, 2023. Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit agencies providing Domestic Violence services that can meet all requirements to execute a Notice of Grant Award.
