‘ACT NO.6641 BILL NO. 25-0146 | TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2003 To honor and commend Mr. Wilford Pedro for his outstanding contributions, promoting and sustaining Virgin Islands cultural music, folkways and customs and to rename the Whim Gardens Home for the Elderly in his honor ---0--- WHEREAS, Wilford Pedro was born under the Danish Flag on March 5, 1904, at Estate Plessen, St. Croix to Fritz and May Pedro; and WHEREAS, Mr. Pedro had three brothers, Amold Pedro, Herman Pedro (deceased) and Fritz Pedro and five sisters, Agatha Pedro Samuel (deceased), Rachel Pedro Benjamin (deceased), Catherine Pedro Benjamin (deceased), Evelyn Pedro Moore (deceased) and Hilda Pedro Martin (deceased); and WHEREAS, Mr. Pedro married Ms. Delphine Abramson and in their union produced five children, Owen, Onaldo, Neville, Genevieve, and Loreene; and WHEREAS, Mr. Pedro had two other children, Raymond Pedro, and Marjorie Pedro John; and WHEREAS, Mr. …
