ACT NO. 7146 BILL NO. 28-0168 TWENTY-EIGHT LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 25, subchapter V, section 555b to provide for minimum wage for employees of semi-autonomous agencies and _ independent instrumentalities of the Government Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 25, subchapter V, section 555b is amended in the first sentence by inserting “semi-autonomous agencies and independent instrumentalities of the Government of the Virgin Islands” after “Government of the Virgin Islands” and in the second sentence by inserting “semi-autonomous agency or independent instrumentality of the Government of the Virgin Islands” after “Government of the Virgin Islands”. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on December 22, 2009. Witness our Hands and Seal of the Legislature of the Virgin Islands this A Day of January, A.D., 2010.
