ACTNO. 6799 BILL NO. 26-0145 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2005 To appropriate monies for salaries, operating expenses and equipment of the Legislature of the Virgin Islands for Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2006 i | BEIT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The’sum of $16,900,000 is appropriated for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Virgin Islands to the Legislature of the Virgin Islands for salaries, equipment, supplies and other operating expenses. SECTION 2. The sum of $1,000, 000 is appropriated | bn the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, from interest earned of debt service reserves to the Legislature of the Virgin Islands for capital improvements. : SECTION 3. Title 2 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 5 is amended by adding section 76 to read as follows: “876. Senatorial Allotments (a) Each member shall receive a base allotment of 2% of the total budget of the Legislative Branch for the operation of the member’s senatorial office. …
