Title 27, Virgin Islands Code is amended by inserting chapter 12 to read: “Chapter 12. Scrap Metal Dealers & Scrap Metal Recyclers § 370. Definitions As used in this subchapter, the following terms shall have the following meaning: (a) “Department” means the Virgin Islands Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs. ” (b) “Ferrous metals’ means metallic objects containing significant quantities of iron or steel. (c) “Fixed location" means any area occupied by a metal recycler as owner of the site or as lessee of the site under a lease or other rental agreement providing for occupation of the site by the secondary metals recycler for a total duration of not less than 6 (six) months. …
