ACT NQ ni 0 OL’ U BILL NO. 33-0139 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2019 An Act reprograming funds from the Hurricane 1mm and Hurricane Maria Insurance Proceeds to the Department of Property and Procurement to insure government buildings and properties ---0--- Be it enacted by rise Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $3,887,772.47 is reprogrammed in fiscal year ending September 30, 2019, from the Hurricane 1mm and Hurricane Maria Insurance Proceeds to the Department of Property and Procurement to provide additional funding to cover the cost of insurance for government buildings and properties. This sum is to remain available until expended for the stated purpose. SECTION 2. The Government of the Virgin Islands. through the Department of Property and Procurement, shall procure property and casualty insurance on the open market in fiscal year 2020 at the expiration of the current property and casualty insurance policy. …
