ACTNO, 7120 BILL NO. 28-0126 TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act appropriating monies for salaries, expenses and programs of the University of the Virgin Islands for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, and for other purposes ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The sum of $30,019,056 or as much of the sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from any available funds in the Treasury of the Virgin Islands, to the University of the Virgin Islands Fund for expenditure by the University of the Virgin Islands during the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, for the purposes named in this section in accordance with title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapters 33 and 35; (a) For salaries, including pay for regular and temporary employees; salary increases; employer's FICA and retirement contributions; overtime compensation of hourly rated employees; books, magazines, teaching materials and audio-visual supplies; equipment and supplies for offices, classrooms, laboratories, library, student and faculty lodgings; r …
