THOMAS SAVINGS BANK SHC NS GROWING POPULARI- 1Y OF INSTITUTION The 7Z2nd Annual General Meeting of the St. Tho aas Savings Bank came off last evening ai the American Hotel, and was well att:nded by both members and friends of th: institution. The meeting was called {2 order at 8.10 p. m. by the President Mr. D. O. A., THURSDAY. 16tH OCTORER 1919 of $59,846.92. The first item, however. was the elec- tion of a chairman, and secre uary which resulted in the seléction of Messrs, O. S Kean and A. O’Neal respeciively. Then followed the reading o che Report dealing with the Bank’s firances, &e., which proved very interesting as vell as encouraging, it having shovn among other things that waile there was a steady decrease in the withdriwva s there was a great inerease in the an:cun_ of the depositors. Upon being put to the vote the report was unanimously adop ed. There next came some well-merited rem-arks by members Burnet, Dr. V. A. Chri:tensen and Bishop Greide.. A short recess now followec, wien re- freshments were served.
