TWENTY-EIGHT LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session: 2010 | An Act granting Parcel Nos. 15 and 15B Remainder Estate Smith Bay, Nos. 1, 2 & 3 East End Quarter, St Thomas a use variance from the R-3 (Residential-Medium Density) zoning district ---- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Pursuant to 29 V.LC., §238a, a variance is granted from the uses allowed in the R-3 (Residential-Medium Density) zoning district to Parcels Nos. 15 and 15B Remainder, Estate Smith Bay, Nos. 1, 2 & 3 East End Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, consisting of 4.695 U. S. Acres, more or less, as more accurately shown on PWD Drawing No. A9-738-T009, for an office building to house an architectural firm, on the conditions that: (a) The building housing the architectural firm must be set back a minimum distance of 50 feet from any adjacent residential building; and (b) All other requirements for the R-3 (Residential-Medium Density) zoning district continue to apply to the subject property. …
