Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources is pleased to announce that the Division of Libraries, Archives, and Museums has partnered with the 175th Emancipation Committee to present: “CLEAR DE ROAD: COUNTER ARCHIVES OF RESISTANCE” at Fort Frederik Museum, opening on Friday, June 30th from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. “We are calling out all Virgin Islander artists to participate in this momentous event”, said Chief Curator Monica Marin. Artists may find eligibility guidelines at Eligibility.pdf (vi.gov) Kindly email your completed application with required materials to monica.marin@dpnr.vi.gov and place “Emancipation 175th Exhibition Submission” in the subject header. Large files should be sent via a file transfer system (such as Dropbox or Wetransfer), using the same email address for notification purposes. …
