BILL NO. 25-0002 TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2003 To authorize the Public Finance Authority to use up to $6,700,000 from the Tobacco Settlement Health Care and Capital Improvement Fund to complete repairs on the Charles Harwood Medical Complex ---()--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding title 33 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 111, section 3100b, subsection (c)(1) or any other law to the contrary, the Public Finance Authority 1s authorized to use up to $6,700,000 of the funds designated to the Department of Health in the Tobacco Settlement Health Care and Capital Improvement Fund under 33 V.IC. §3100b (c)(1), to complete repairs to the Charles Harwood Medical Complex on St. Croix. SECTION 2. Upon the issuance of new bonds or receipt of additional revenue, the sum of $4,700,000 shall be re-deposited into the Tobacco Settlement Health Care and Capital Improvement Fund, for funding of the St. Thomas Projects referenced in 33 VLC. §3100b (c)(1). …
