ACTNO. 7489 BILL NO. 30-0011 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act amending 17 V.LC., chapter 5, relating to education and establishing a dual credit program between the University of the Virgin Islands and the Department of Education for high school students in the Virgin Islands, making a $50,000 appropriation to the Dual Credit Fund, amending Act No. 6502 relating to the authorization to convey 205 acres of land to the University of the Virgin Islands Research and Technology Park and ratifying the conveyance of Parcel Nos. 1A and 12 VI Corp. Land, King Quarter, St. Croix ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 17 V.LC., chapter 5, is amended by re-designating the existing section 41d as 41e and inserting a new section 41d to read as follows: “§ 41d. Dual Credit program authorized; definition; eligibility; costs and fees; rules; evaluation (a) The Department of Education and the University of the Virgin Islands are authorized to establish a Dual Credit program. …
