ACTNO. 8314 BILL NO. 33-0328 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act approving the Lease Agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands Department of Property and Procurement and Alliance Data Services, LLC ---0--- WHEREAS, the Governor of the Virgin Islands executed a lease agreement on February 20, 2020, with Alliance Data Services, LLC for Building No. 1, Section B, Plot No. 6 Estate Recovery Hill, Company Quarter, St. Croix, Virgin Islands consisting of approximately 6 U.S. square feet to install and operate equipment for internet services; WHEREAS, title 31, section 205 (c) of the Virgin Islands Code provides that in addition to the required approval of the Governor as provided for in subsection (b) of this section, no sale, exchange, lease, or sublease of government real estate is binding upon the Government of the Virgin Islands, unless and until it is approved by the Legislature; and WHEREAS, this act is to approve a lease granted by the Government of the Virgin Islands Department of Property and Procurement; Now, Therefore, Be it en …
